This IDC Flash provides an analytical assessment of Optus Business and Alphawest's launch of "Your IT as a Service" on March 21, 2012 for the Australian market. This is a private cloud solution, hosting data on premise using NetApp, and Cisco FlexPod virtual storage, network and compute, VM virtualisation and CommVault data management technologies. It also uses Cisco's Intelligent Automation for Cloud platform as the foundation of its on-premise cloud service for customers. The solution has been implemented for corporate and leisure accommodation provider Mantra Group, helping it keep pace with the growth demands of their business.
