Alphawest Services Pty Ltd today announced that it has appointed Alan Keys as Business Solutions Manager for South Australia.
Alphawest has grown to become a leading IT Services provider in the South Australian market for the provision of infrastructure solutions, products and services. The branch is also a leading supplier of information management solutions for clients in the commercial and government sectors as well as providing selective outsourcing and whole of business managed services for its clients. With a local team of 25 staff Alphawest has also seen significant growth with key strategic vendors such as Hummingbird, Handysoft, Cisco Systems and Hitachi Data Systems.
Alan will be responsible for developing and managing strategic business relations in South Australia for Alphawest, as well as building and strengthening relationships with clients and technology partners.
Alan has more than 25 years of experience in the IT, communications and high-tech manufacturing sectors. His background includes executive roles in government, large corporates and SMEs. For the past year Alan has been engaged in providing business advisory services for fast growth high-tech companies. Immediately prior to this, Alan was employed by Sun Microsystems Australia, in a territory and business development role, where he achieved outstanding success for the organisation.
Alan's background in general management, sales account management and business development places him in good stead to assist Alphawest’s clients in SA.
Alan holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Enterprise from the University of Adelaide's Education Centre for Innovation and Commercialisation. He is a member of the Industry Advisory Board of the South Australian Consortium for Information Technology and Telecommunications.
