Alphawest, a leading IT Services provider to the government, legal, educational and business sectors, has strengthened its executive team in WA through the appointment of a Sales Manager and a Training Division Manager.
Alphawest has appointed Steve Floyd as WA Sales Manager. He is responsible for the performance of Alphawest's WA Sales team and strengthening relationships with clients and technology partners.
Steve has 15 years experience in IT, sales and business development. He started his career as an engineer and progressed through various senior consultancy and sales and marketing positions. Steve has worked for organisations including Telstra and Gibson Quai.
Steve joined Alphawest in 2003 as a Senior Account Manager. He has a Bachelor of Engineering from Curtin University of Technology.
Alphawest has also appointed Rebecca Richards as Training Division Manager. Rebecca will be responsible for ensuring that Alphawest Training delivers training solutions on the latest technologies to meet the demands of its customers. Alphawest increases its Training customers’ return on investment by enabling them to be productive in the shortest possible time.
Rebecca has held a variety of positions within IT and Sales. She gained in-depth knowledge on training solutions in her previous position at ESD Simulation Training, a technical training provider throughout Australasia.
Rebecca has a Degree in Business Studies with General National Vocational Qualifications in Finance and E-Procurement from Bath University, plus National Vocational Qualifications in Sales and Marketing and Government E-Procurement from The Consortium in the U.K..
