Rebecca has over 15 years experience in Human Resources gained both domestically and internationally across a number of industries including telecommunications, ICT, financial services and business process outsourcing.
Having commenced with Alphawest in January 2009 as General Manager, Human Resources, Rebecca’s focus is to develop and drive HR strategy ensuring alignment with the Alphawest vision and business strategy. Rebecca joined Alphawest from another Optus subsidiary, Uecomm, where she spent two years as HR Director. Prior to that, Rebecca was based in London and held the role of Global HR Director at SEI Investments, a NASDAQ listed wealth management company.
Rebecca brings a strong background in organisation development, change management, leadership and team development as well as coaching and facilitation. She has extensive experience with cultural transformation programs, employee engagement and people development initiatives, having delivered a 30% increase in employee engagement during her time at Uecomm.
Working alongside a strong team of HR professionals, Rebecca is focused on redefining the Alphawest culture and providing its people with opportunities to grow and develop their talent. Leading the HR team and vision, Rebecca is driving the design, development and implementation of HR services and sustainable programs to:
- build organisational capability and talent;
- optimise work productivity; and
- improve employee engagement and retention at Alphawest.
