Position: General Manager, Managed Services
Location: Perth, Western Australia
John is the General Manager, Managed Services for Alphawest, responsible for leading the managed services business and end to end delivery of managed services to Alphawest's valued clients.
John held the National General Manager, Operations and Planning role since 2000, responsible for the Alphawest’s Annuity line of business and various corporate initiatives and projects.
John has been integral to many of the corporate milestones of Alphawest including the integration of Solution 6 companies in 2000-2002, a management buy out in 2002, various acquisitions and integration projects, the Optus acquisition and integration.
In 1991, prior to joining Alphawest, John established ACT Network Integrators. ACT provided systems networking and LAN/WAN communications services to the Western Australian market. As Managing Director, his experience in management combined with strong financial and business acumen mean he brings considerable focus onto operational improvements and efficiencies at Alphawest. In 1999, a multinational IT company acquired ACT and John managed its WA operation until joining Alphawest.
