Dianne Fahey commenced with Alphawest in June 2007 as the General Manager, Human Resources. Dianne’s role is to develop and drive the HR Strategy, ensuring alignment to the Alphawest vision and strategic direction.

Dianne joined Alphawest from Optus, where she spent eleven years working across a number of HR and Line of Business roles. Prior to Optus, Dianne held roles within the Travel, Teaching and Retail industries.

As part of the Alphawest Leadership Team, Dianne participates actively in the business strategy formulation, measurement and implementation.

Dianne is driving significant changes to redefine the culture at Alphawest and provide its people with opportunities to grow and develop their talent.

Dianne leads a National HR Team that:

  • has a unified approach
  • will deliver core HR services and programs
  • explore innovative practices
  • will transform Alphawest into “the place to be”
  • encourages and inspires each other in the business, and
  • has fun along the way.

The HR team does “make a difference” at Alphawest. 

Its vision is to design, develop and implement HR services and sustainable programs to:

  • build organisational capability and talent
  • optimise work productivity, and
  • improve employee engagement and retention.
