Rob Parcell is responsible for all aspects of Alphawest’s business including sales, operations and delivery. Alphawest, which Optus acquired in 2005, has experienced significant growth since its integration with Optus and is now one of the top ten IT services companies in Australia.

Kate Poole

General Manager, Finance and Shared Services

Kate Poole is a Chartered Accountant with seventeen years of experience in commercial and corporate finance, strategy and business improvement roles. Ten of these years have been with Optus.

Danny Leddin

General Manager, Emerging Business

Danny Leddin is a ten year veteran with Optus and has held several roles for the company in that time. Danny is currently the General Manager, Emerging Business for Alphawest.

Dianne Fahey

General Manager, Human Resources

Dianne Fahey commenced with Alphawest in June 2007 as the General Manager, Human Resources. Dianne’s role is to develop and drive the HR Strategy, ensuring alignment to the Alphawest vision and strategic direction.

Ian Smith

General Manager, Technology Solutions

Ian Smith has worked in the IT industry for over 30 years, with over 15 years experience in a variety of senior management roles, and joined Alphawest in early 2006.

John Sanger

General Manager, Managed Services

John Sanger is the General Manager, Managed Services for Alphawest, responsible for leading the managed services business and end to end delivery of managed services to our valued clients.

Stephen Wood

General Manager, Business Solutions

In early 2006 Stephen Wood was appointed General Manager, Business Solutions. This role is responsible for the national line of business developing Information Management Solutions. Stephen has been with Alphawest since 2003 originally as General Manager, New South Wales during which time, besides running the business, he successfully developed the focus on the Legal vertical nationally and drove the acquisition of Inform Australia.

Bruce Boswell

General Manager, Federal Region

Bruce has been working in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) business since joining the Postmaster Generals Department (PMG - now Telstra) in 1968 as a Technician, and has been engaged in management and enterprise sales for just over 20 years in Alphawest, Optus, HP and NEC.

General Manager, Northern Region

This position is currently vacant. Ian Smith, General Manager, Technology Solutions is acting in this role until an appointment is made.

Rob Szymanski

General Manager, Southern Region

Rob Szymanski joined Alphawest in October 2004, as General Manager Victoria, and brings with him over 23 years of sales, engineering and management experience in the IT and Utilities industries.
